hardcore blogging D:

Before I begin,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!

I know you'll probably be reading this although you deny doing so! HEHEH. I KNOW YOU! Have the best birthday ever and i hope life brings you joy and happiness. *cough* you have me so OBVIOUSLY there's joy. :D GOD BLESS MAMA. you're the coolest mama evahh~! iloveyou.

HELLO WORLD! :D as some of you might know, us form fivers (excluding the CS students) are free from peril! We're free to run into the wilderness, to drink free water from the streams, to inhale free air from the..erm, air! Well, you get the picture. FREEDOM never tasted this sweet.

We had our last paper yesterday. Additional Math 2, eww i know. After the paper, you might have heard this high pitched shrill? Yeah, that was me :D UNLESS, the guys who were screaming too, had high pitched voices. Trust me, a lot of them do. So anyway, pei wei came back with me and we got ready together. We waited for Blessy and Carmy to arrive, before heading to the mall to meet up with Marcus and Teo. Had dinner at pizza hut. We then headed over to UNITEK to get dvds. BECAUSE it was friday the 13th, Marcus insisted that we watch horror movies the whole night. We ended up with, "paranormal activity" and "Jenniffer's body". Headed to Marcus' place, destroying his driver's eardrums in the process and vain-ed around his house while Marcus changed into his shorts. The guys were such asses. Marcus came down with a halloween mask and scared the hell out of us when he appeared from the back while we were taking pictures. The movies were okay i guess? Not that i watched everything anyway :D I watched the morning scenes and covered my ears and eyes during the night scenes. It wasn't THAT scary but, horror movies just aren't my thing. They were laughing their asses off at the stupid-ness of the show while I hid behind stacks of pillows. That's about it, for the movies. Then, we played "Boogie superstar" while waiting for my parents to arrive. There were a lot of ass touching pictures, which I will upload soon enough. Parents arrived at about 1+ am and Pei wei, Blessy, as well as Carmen, came home with me, to have a slumber party :D. Teo and Marcus had their "macho time".

I feel so dead at the moment because I only had about an hour plus of sleep. We didn't sleep the whole night because we were up being GIRLS. We sang, did our nails, ate while talking and took photos like retarded people. At 6 in the morning, we were all still pretty high and Pei wei was putting on make up for us. By the time it was almost 8, you should've seen how we looked like. Pei wei fell asleep first, then Carmy, then Blessy. I on the other hand went to have my morning bath. Finally everyone got up and Carmen + Blessy went home while Pei wei and I walked over to school because we had things to settle. So practically, at that time, I couldn't think straight. It felt like some hangover, where someone smashed your head with a large TV and you couldn't remember a thing the next day, but felt the pain. When I came home, i slept for about FIVE MINUTES, then dad told me we had to go for lunch. After lunch, we headed straight to Miri - which is where I am at now. So yeah, I slept so soundly the whole way because that was my ONLY time of rest. Ugh, now I have so many things to settle off. I need to upload the slumber party pictures, the 'last day of school' pictures, BLOG and play with my 'happy aquarium'. heheh. Don't you just LOVE tapping the tank so your slugs and snails fall off? SO freaking cute. shush, don't judge me.

Now, I'm just snacking on some preserved fruit stuff to keep me awake..and wondering when i'll be able to head over to dream land where my gay ponies are waiting for me. D: I feel like a grape that's been sucked of all it's juice. I'm a raisin now. -WAIT- are raisins dried grapes? My mind is going bonkers and i'm too lazy to google it. Yes yes, google is heaven but my muscles are aching like mad, thanks to Blessy's GUITAR. It was the fattest, heaviest guitar EVER, and it's her 'baby'. Damn, you must've eaten a cow a day when you were preggy with your 'baby' huh Bless? (:

Enjoy the pictures!

a closed chapter.

HAHA! my blog has been dead for some time and I do apologize for the lack of updates. As usual, exams have been keeping me busy. O level exams are in a few DAYS and i'm not so sure if I really AM prepared. There's just so much too read and so little time.

A few days ago, we had our so called 'last day of school'. Man, was it an emotional day. It started off normally and everyone brought their cameras along to have shots of their best buds and all. DSLRs were flying all over the place! So anyway, at the end of the day, everyone started crying. I didn't feel anything at first. I cried the other day already, with Nad because she was upset that I might be leaving next year, so i thought, "hmm, I cried already. I'm not gonna cry again (: *beams*". Blessy was doing her very best to keep me from looking at those who were crying. Zaimah came crying and i hugged her but didn't really look. (I cry when others cry. It's this sort of 'reflex action' or something. HAHA). So anyway, i made it through not crying..and SUDDENLY, Chiun Yiun came crying. Blessy left with Marcus and Nad to look for someone so I was left all alone. NO ONE TO PROTECT ME FROM LOOKING! So I ended up crying and couldn't stop until I had to go home.

It's just this feeling you get, when you realise.."hey, i've gone this far, and now it's ending." Everything will never be the same again. No more annoying teachers during lessons and singing "listen - beyonce" everytime Mr.aj says, "Listen!". I'll miss all the teachers! We've had a blast with them teaching and they have guided us through everything. Despite our horrible results and what nots, they stood by us, still putting their faith into us, that we would succeed in life and make them PROUD. Thank you teachers, for all your efforts and I'm sorry if I have ever done anything to disrespect you (not that i have, but just in case (: ) I'd write more about all these mushy stuff but you readers might be already sick of it.

Moving on.. SAS(my school), met with SGS in the Inter school 4th National Junior English Debate Competition in the finals. Manda, Ryan and I were the three speakers, representing our school. We lost the competition, with a split 3-2. SGS did really well and I would like to congratulate them on a job well done :D No hard feelings. To me, this journey brought many happy memories and not to mention a lot of experience. I'll miss practice sessions with Mrs. Manik (': We had so much fun every time we sat down for a discussion for our next motion. My teammates were the bomb ; Manda, Maria, Zaimah and Ryan. I LOVE YOU GUYS (: Because of the competition, I have learnt so many things, mainly, building up my self confidence. I now know about world issues and what nots. Good stuff. Good stuff.

What would be the hottest topic of discussion besides O's? PROM. haha! Everyone is hyped up for prom. What dress should we get? Who should we take? How should my hair look like? Where will I get my make up done? All these could give a girl a brain hemorrhage or something man. But hey! The beauty of it all is the end result, where all is done and all you have to do is go to prom and look pretty. haha! BUT don't forget; O's first guys :D So study hard and I wish you all the best! Make the 09 batch the BEST (:

Love,
Joann.

socks socks socks!

Pretty picture no? It's from deviantart.com. I have socks almost exactly like those :)

So anyway, I was wondering why some bloggers get so many feedbacks from their readers? And I remembered what Jarrod told me. Write anything controversial and you'll definitely get a lot of feedback. HAHA! But that's not a very nice thing to do is it?

We had a belated teacher's day celebration today. HAPPY belated TEACHER'S DAY! Had the entire day off! Ok, well half, for some of us. BUT, us form fivers had a talk later on in the day so we missed classes :D heheh. If I had a choice, i'd really pursue theatre arts but I doubt I'd bee good enough. Then i'll just be stuck with no job D:

I was watching the celebration China had on CCTV - 60 years since freedom from Emperors' rule. It's times like this when you tell yourself that you're proud to be Chinese. The event was absolutely AWESOME. Everything was done to precision.

You know what I get pretty annoyed with? When I tell someone that I am not able to speak any form of Chinese, and they either tell you that you're not a 'true' Chinese or they think you're a snob who just doesn't want to speak your language because you want to be 'angmoh'. It's not my fault that both mum and dad cannot speak it either. (except mum can speak Cantonese?). We were never raised speaking Chinese so how is it so 'impossible' to understand that a Chinese cannot speak Chinese. Sheesh. We're not snobs! I tried learning Mandrin for a month and I tell you, that was probably the hardest thing ever. I cannot differentiate between words and the tones and all. When I say something it always means something else. I gave up! Went through the horror of reading "wo shi hao bao bao" which means "i am a good baby", in front of kids and they were snickering. I SWEAR THEY WERE! :( The teacher was nice at least and she could put up with my horrible Chinese speaking skills so I give her an A++.

Other than that, with this 'weird position' that I am in, it's actually funny to see the faces on some adults when you tell them you cannot speak Chinese. Their eyes suddenly appear larger than normal O_O. And they get so interested in knowing why you cannot do so. My grandma cannot speak English. So guess how I communicate with her? HAHA! you'll never guess. MALAY. (: Awesome no? It's something different. Whenever I open my mouth to try speak Chinese, people around would go, "no jo, no. Don't murder the language." That's how bad I am. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?! I'll go marry some guy who is English educated, with CHINESE speaking skills. heheh. THEN, my children can grow up speaking both! Good plan? Good plan. I feel deprived, without that 'skill' and it isn't exactly a good thing to NOT be able to speak your own 'mother tongue'. I'm just hopeless so you can't blame me. :D

Love,
Joann (:

Imagine all the people, living life in peace. You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

I'm wearing an ARSENAL shirt and I've never actually watched any of their matches.

I'm hungry.

Okay, so i'm ALWAYS hungry at odd hours. I end up stuffing myself and when dinner comes, i'm full. Someone tell me WHY i do this to myself?

Leena (sister) went back to UK yesterday and man, was it an emotional ride, going to the airport as well as going back. Gah, i'll miss her for a few stuff but I guess she'll be back home next year so (:

Things i'll miss..

late night snacks with her

there wont be anyone playing Farmville for me :(

there will be no one to bug

there will be no one to make the black pepper lamb chop that i LOVE.

there will be no one to treat me to meals(besides 'the parents' of course)

there will be no one to buy me stuff that i want, with the excuse that it would be for my BIRTHDAY.

there will be no one to sing with, retarded-ly.

there will be no one to upload my photos because my comp is too packed with stuff T.T

there will be no one to save me when mummy or daddy nags D: THE HORROR!

our retarded moments.

EVERYTHING!

Things i don't mind not having..

♥ a messy room, full of clothes AND books flying all over the place

♥ her, bugging me when i'm sleeping

♥ hmm. just all the annoying stuff. HAHHA

SO ANYWAY, sis, if you're reading this, then you should be grateful that I miss more stuff. SO, heheh, gifts please? :D and please keep bugging mum about the Feb trip. I can't wait.

We are probably the most retarded people in the face of this earth. You should see our videos. Will get a hold of it when school reopens. I think our parents sent us to the mental ward and they sent us back because we were too horrible. But i guess that's what makes us a little..unique. And i LOVE this dysfunctional group of friends. FAMMIILLYYY

Love,
Joann.

♥a broken bottle top.

If you have not seen that video i posted below this post, I suggest you do! It's the best i've seen so far and as Marcus said, it was "magical~~". yes, magical, with the swirly lines. It just adds to the 'magical' feeling. That guy is seriously GOOD but at the same time, we can obviously see how he has so much time on his hands. Mind you, there are only two guys in the vid. :D

Moving on, you know little children always somehow get bullied when they meet with, erm, huge classmates. You knoww..how in the movies, the little ones get picked on by the bigger ones. Well, I've never had that problem actually, despite my size. We always hear, from time to time that size matters because if you're tiny, people find it easier to pick on you. Actually, if you have some command of a language + a loud voice, that wouldn't happen. BUT of course, only 'mentally' - us small people actually HAVE a chance to tear the bigger ones down. Lets say, PHYSICALLY. Then we're doomed. One kick will send us flying off to the milky way.

I've always been small. And guess what? I never, not once, have been bullied. WHY? because I was the one picking on others. Er, ok, well not exactly 'picking' on others. Lets just say I helped the girls out. If any boy sort of picked on my friend, i'd go up to them and talk to them. I even held their shirt collars once. I wonder what was going through that mind of mine. Hilarious really. Whenever I tell this story, people give me that "are-you-sure?" look. My sister on the other hand, was always bigger - and yet people still picked on her. I remember once, this girl kept disturbing my sister. She was in what? year four? And I was probably in year two? I went up to her and hit her with a bottle. HAHAHA. Man, was I horrible. Strangers used to tell my mum what a serious baby I was. I always had that fierce look! And there was this other incident where this guy, in primary six told me that I could spit on his face if i dared. Since he offered, I did! :D It wasn't entirely my fault okay? He dared me to. PLUS, he didn't do anything to me and there was no racour between us....i think. I don't do that now (: but I do speak my mind when I need to.

I may sound like a brat, but no, really, I wasn't! I just..protected the people I loved thats all. If they didn't disturb my friends or my sister in the first place, I would have never done anything like that. They were all guys anyway :D They should take it like a man! You know how it was like..the "cooties" that all the guys seemed to have back then? Come to think of it, we were really dumb. Guys are fun to be with because they don't give a shit to whatever gossip you have. They just don't care! That's their best attribute. ALSO, they act like crazy, weird people in front of you and they don't bother about how they look when they're being "crazy". A++ if you ask me. Nono, I haven't forgotten the girls of course. They're awesome too. Girls are there for all the sentimental moments and all the girly stuff. They go crazy at times too so that's a plus. Heh, how we've all grown up huh? Good times. Good times.

I seem to be a bit chatty today. Lets not stop the enthusiasm.

Kanye West took the mike from Taylor Swift when she was giving her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video for the MTV Video Music Awards last night and said that Beyonce deserved it. A few stars such as Katy Perry and Pink were sort of mad about it. Poor Taylor. Look at her "shocked" face.

Also, there was news about this Yale student who went missing days before her wedding. On her wedding day, her body was found. Argh, so kasian man. How can people just take a life without even thinking whether it's morally right or not. Karma's gonna get the person back i tell you.

You guys should read UK's daily mail. The stories there are pretty interesting. That's it for today.

Love,

Joann (:
